Title debut 2019 on the Independent Professional Wrestling Circuit in the DMv (DC Maryland and Virginia). The title went viral when Now AEW/ROH Wrestler Trish Adora won a 24 man tournament capturing it. The Afropunk then went on a 1300+ Day run with the title around the world defending it in both the US, Mexico and UK. In 2022, PAWDWC was designated a world title by PWI (Pro Wrestling Illustrated).
